Hi Scott,
Hope all is well. The year finished super strong with a 2nd place out
of 29 participants at SCRS#4 and 1st place in the Swede's California
Racing Series. A four race series with events held in San Jose, San
Francisco, Woodbridge, and San Diego.
This final regatta was raced in both A and B rig conditions. B rig pressure
is a rare condition for San Diego. Even at the top of A rig sailing
conditions the Windjammin jib was exceptional. I finished with 4 bullets
second to Craig's 5. I wanted to thank you again for building a great
product and providing excellent customer service. It has been so enjoyable
to put a US sail maker such as yourself at the top of a competitive
fleet. 2008 was my first year traveling with the IOM and I see better
results in the future. I gave my extra jib to Don Ginthner (former owner
of Great Basin Model Yachts) and his performance improved. 3 sailors
in Las Vegas now sail with your brand. It has proven superior to other
materials in our often light conditions.
