Why iCarex?

iCarex sets the standard for high‑performance ripstop sail fabrics. Its strength and stability are essential for small, high‑performance rigs like the DF65.

iCarex is one of the lightest sail fabrics available. The polyurethane (PU) coating on both sides makes it extremely airtight and water‑resistant, ensuring excellent performance in light winds and consistent shape even in wet conditions.

With very low stretch, iCarex provides precise, responsive sail behavior. Its double‑coated polyester construction offers the best porosity control of any fabric in its class.

Reinforced ripstop squares every 10mm in both warp and fill directions give the fabric exceptional tear strength for its weight. The symmetrical grid pattern is a signature of iCarex and represents the highest quality standard in performance sailcloth.

What's Included with Windjammin Sails DF65 Sails

• Reinforced starburst corners - Distributes load evenly for a smoother, longer‑lasting sail. Stock sails lack corner reinforcements, which often leads to wrinkles and distortion, especially at the clew.
• Battens for leech support - Helps maintain shape and supports the sail area outside the pull line for cleaner performance.
• Fluorescent green and yellow telltales - 2 pairs on the jib, 1 pair on the main, and 2 on the main leech. Essential for tuning, trim, and reading wind direction on the water.
• RG65 class symbol and sail numbers - Applied to both the main and jib, following class rules. Includes the last two digits of your registered number.
